New York's New Power Of Attorney Law Effective 9/1/09: What It Means For Individuals.
New York's Power of Attorney law changed September 1 in significant respects. Powers of attorney (POAs) executed prior to September 1 that are valid under existing law will continue to be valid even after the effective date of the new statute.
