Steel Update
WTO Members Reach Procedural Agreement On Joint 201 Steel Panel The United States agreed with Brazil to certain procedural steps and to consolidated deadlines in the joint panel established to hear the complaints of seven WTO Members against the US March 5 safeguard measures on steel. The seven Members are the European Communities (EC), Japan, Korea, China, Switzerland, Norway and New Zealand. The EC panel was composed on June 3 and the joint panel on June 24 with New Zealand joining on July 15 and Brazil joining on July 29.
